Cost: £340 7 sessions over 6 months Maximum number of participants: 5
This exciting opportunity is a 6 month course with a session each month to introduce a different artist master to take inspiration from. This would suit anyone who has done my 6 week course or someone who is familiar with multiple exposure techniques and wants to have a focus for their images. We will talk about the history of the artist, look at some of their works and discuss the techniques that could be used to represent them using multiple exposure. This is a truly creative course, allowing you to have the time to properly experiment and refine your ideas into images you are proud of. The artists will include Gustav Klimt, Henri Matisse, Yayoi Kusama, Georgia O’Keeffe, Claude Monet and Vincent Van Gogh .
Multiple Exposure is one of my favourite ways of portraying how I feel about the world around me and enables me to get more emotion into the images that I produce. I have been very successful with my images and have won and been shortlisted for competitions with multiple exposure creations and I would love to take you further on your multiple exposure journey! Please note that I will talk about in camera multiple exposure and how to achieve results using photoshop - the choice of medium for this course is up to you. The course will suit Affinity users if you know your way around this editing tool.
The Multiple exposure of the Masters course consists of 5 two hour sessions and 2 one hour sessions on the following dates and beginning at 7.30pm in the evening (GMT).
Session 1 - (1 hour 15 minutes) welcome and Introduction to the work of Gustav Klimt
Session 2 - (2 hours) review of images inspired by Klimt and second artist introduction. This will be the same structure for the following 4 sessions:
Session 7 - (1 hour) review of last artist
January 2027 start: THURSDAY AFTERNOONS (2-4pm) 14th January, 18th February, 18th March, 15th April, 20th May, 17th June, 15th July
I am only enabling 5 places on this course as I will run this as interactive sessions and I think it is really important to keep the numbers small to be able to give individual feedback. There will be discussions, homework and sharing of work produced. Don’t worry if this makes you feel nervous, I have had 26 years experience in the education field and will be able to make you feel comfortable and, ultimately, successful
I will be recording the sessions and you will access to them for the period of the course and for 3 months afterwards.
If you feel you need to buy this in 2 instalments please contact me here
Please do have a look at the T&Cs in the additional info below before pressing ‘purchase’!
I am looking forward to meeting you!
